Refugee Hosts is looking for a logo that will represent our exciting, innovative and interdisciplinary project across a range of different mediums including television, print media and online.
We are delighted to invite UCL, Queen Margaret University, UEA and Durham University students to submit logo designs following the instructions below. This is an especially good opportunity for any budding designers looking to build up their portfolio. We request that the designs adhere to the following brief:
- Designs must be symbolic: no text can be used. This is to ensure that the project is accessible to a variety of different communities, whose native languages will vary.
- Designs must not be multi-coloured. We are looking for a single-coloured logo to enable more flexible dissemination.
- Designs must not make any reference to faith or religious symbols.
The winner will receive a copy of the Oxford Handbook of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies, and two runner up prizes will also be awarded. The winning designer will be fully credited throughout our publications, including in national and international news media.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 13 February 2017 – 17:00
Please send your designs to the Project and Communications Coordinator, Aydan Greatrick at: aydan.greatrick.15@ucl.ac.uk
Where possible, please submit a copy of your design in both JPG and EPS formats.
We look forward to receiving your submissions, and good luck!
