On 14 June 2016, from 2-3pm, Refugee Hosts’ PI Dr Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh, will be responding to a round of questions on Twitter as part of the ODI’s ‘Livelihoods in displacement: from refugee perspectives to aid agency response’ project.
The conversation, which will take place on Twitter between researchers from ODI’s HPG, Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh and 2-3 other discussants, promises to be an exciting and fascinating insight into the latest research into refugee livelihoods and humanitarian programming. In particular, Refugee Hosts aims to raise awareness of the need to improve humanitarian engagement with diverse local communities in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey, as well as the challenges and opportunities that working with such communities present vis-a-vis refugee protection and integration.
