This is an advance notice that early in 2017 Queen Margaret University-Edinburgh’s IGHD is likely to be recruiting a Research Fellow for work on the topic of engagement of local faith communities with protection and psychosocial programming. The researcher will work with our growing group of staff working on support of community-based humanitarian and development work funded by research council grants or commissioned by major international NGOs.

Individuals with an interest in this area of work, capacity to engage with periods of fieldwork in Africa and Latin America, and a masters or doctoral degree in a relevant subject should send a one page CV to Dr Carola Eyber (ceyber@qmu.ac.uk) and Professor Alastair Ager (aager@qmu.ac.uk) so that details of the position can be sent as soon as they become available.

The position – funded on the G7 Research Fellow scale – will likely be available for a fixed term of between 24 and 30 months.
