The team gathers for the first project meeting, 12 September 2016 (c) A. Greatrick

On 12 September 2016 we launched our new AHRC-ESRC funded research project (one of the first grants awarded under the new Global Challenges Research Fund) as part of the PaCCS research Programme. Our first project meeting brought together the core research team of investigators (Elena Fiddian-Qasmiyeh (PI), Alastair Ager, Anna Rowlands and Lyndsey Stonebridge) alongside representatives of our project partners, collaborators and advisers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of undertaking this important and complex research project. Many thanks to everyone who joined us in person and online for their invaluable comments and suggestions throughout our first meeting.
