Esam Baboukhan is the Digital Engagement Officer for the Refugee Hosts project. He works closely with the Principal Investigator and Project Coordinators and is responsible for the digital management and engagement of this project.

Esam has an MA in Web Design and Content Planning, a PGCE (QTLS) and a BSc in IT and Business Information Systems. He has over 20 years’ teaching experience and is currently also a part-time e-learning manager and lecturer at a Further Education college.   In addition to these roles, he is also employed by Microsoft as a Learning Consultant.  Esam Baboukhan was nominated as Pearson’s Digital Innovator of the Year and recently recognised as one of the stars of the UK’s edtech sector in the edtech50.
